Y’all are open late! We close at 6 Fri/sat, but a big library near us closes at 4 ☹️

Meant to say light weight hoodie - forgot that I got bandage from the hospital and switched to a tank top. Don’t know if a hoodie would work where you are, my surgery was in January, but a zip hoodie worked for me
For my hospital stay I came home in a light tank top. Button down shirts were recommended and I brought one but never wore it because I find hoodies cozier.
I sure do like chocolate martinis - would be fun if they made a soda that tasted like that, but chocolate twizzlers doesn’t sound very appealing.

I’m 41 and definitely in the “ongoing” part of this feeling. Before he died my dad was reading several books on experiences of the afterlife, and the conclusion was that our purpose here is to be kind. So I try and be kind, even in the midst of everything. I’ve already had so many life pivots 1/2
Same - lived in China for 2 years and got lots of tea, scarves, fabric (popular in our region), and meals purchased (by fiercely fighting over the check). No cash, definitely no trash.
These are about the same highs we’ve had this week in Texas, but our lows are around 78 - a very mild summer for us, but lots of hunkering down.
How would your coming make it harder? I’m a student and just won a membership for TLA through a drawing, so I haven’t participated in anything yet

Stage manager/traveling stage manager. I’m great with organizing details and also at telling people what to do. Not sure how long I could do it though, I bet the stress adds up.
It’s…differently intense to episodes 5/6. I won’t rewatch for a different reason, but I can definitely see it not bothering others at all. Definitely has some startling moments though, a drink will hopefully help
Watched 5-7 with a friend last week - am loving the show but don’t think I will repeat those. Hoping the rest aren’t as…messy

When I was in massage school I heard there were places in California you could go to cuddle. The therapist is licensed, everything is agreed on in advance, and I wish we had this in other states, I would definitely go. I would also do a snuggling app, that sounds delightful

I’ve been determined to learn to knit, but been so frustrated at how much more difficult it is to fix mistakes than crocheting and I don’t know anyone who can help me. I also learned to crochet from YouTube, and I could figure out what I did wrong much more easily

I have a TMJ therapist, but she’s an hour away so this gets me through between appointments.
A friend recently recommended a “cervical traction device” - I tried it, and it’s really been helping my teeth clenching. Not as much as a massage, but mostly enough that it doesn’t hurt to chew. I got the non- name brand one that was cheaper and had better reviews.

I loved the staging of this one! And such a great cast, except I thought Christie was very stiff.
I worked on his old show for a week when they were in town for basketball stuff - his staff were overall super nice and friendly, and he was very low key - obviously they had a lot of respect for him. I was super impressed
