It comes and goes with the posts, poster, ect. but without engaging and getting people to like or repost to a larger view, it is nearly impossible to get any notice. I think the original poster is more after views than follows.
They are growing in number. It's so sad, too, because most of whoever creates them doesn't even put in a tiny bit of effort.

I think it's more important to interact with accounts than follow them. Following too many makes the #folllow feed worthless.

The turtle is wonderful. I love shots like this. Here is the thing about bluesky. There is no algorithm to show your posts to people. You have to interact with some, particularly similar accounts, so that people find you. It's a slower build here, but the quality of audience is higher.

@teeveeben.bsky.social Benny, who used to be Benny 9 cats, says that 5 or more is animal husbandry, much different from just having pets. We have strict routines, schedules for cleaning and feeding... it's a lot but worth it.
An interesting point that seems to be largely ignored in all the redistricting is that to make a district more RED, you have to make another more blue. Texas GOP folks have admitted they may have screwed the pooch creating more neutral districts they could lose, and in this climate might lose red.

Yeah...also blamed a flu pandemic on vaccines that happened over a decade before vaccines happened... and admitted in court he's not capable of holding a job.
It's fine. We only have one kid who is a reader of the sort to enjoy it, and she would not care about this one so much. Hopefully it will find a good home. It's over $300 now so I'm good.
I have a lot of signed books, but only a few where King and I both signed. Still, none of our kids will care as much about any of our books, so getting them into hands that will enjoy them is also a good thing.
Just a note... that book I was worried about is at $299 currently. That's acceptable, and I'm relieved. Please, I know some of you were suggesting bidding it up and not buying -please don't do that. It was an honest mistake, but Karma is helping me out.
