I do that in public parks. I was shocked one day to see two girls, maybe 6 and 4, playing alone with no adult in sight. The grandmother finally arrived from the bathroom on the other side of the park. I hung around looking at flowers until she finally showed up.

This is insane. I volunteer for a group that gives food to kids in schools, daycare centers, etc., plus has open hours for everyone else 2x a week. Some who come to open hours don't speak English. We don't care. We have food. They need food. We give them food. I won't ask for proof of citizenship.

If you self-publish, it is important an edited and proofed product. I just finished a book that had typos, incorrect comma use, AND changed names half-way through the book. I almost made it a DNF, but I wondered how bad it could get. It was bad. #amwriting #amediting #booksky #authors #amreading
