The weather suddenly shifted and it started getting dark after a dust storm warning, so I went outside, 😆 (rain comes after the dust; I saw rainclouds). I had a feeling there was a rainbow out there. Stepped out of my garage and there it was, like some joyful Batman-signal. 🌈

Coworker had his car stolen- his own damn fault for leaving keys in it when he went into supermarket- police pursued but broke off on highway when thief hit 90 MPH as it put others at risk. Car was recovered a few days later. Was woman who took it. I told worker there's a possible 'Meet cute' story

May have mentioned in past- one of the best non-fiction books I have read was Insurgent Empire Anti-colonial resistance and British Dissent that undoes notion that British empire brought notion of freedom and liberty when it was actually birthed of the fight of those colonized
Did you read the non-fiction book, ROT? It’s riveting; about the potato famines from the POV of genocidal British policy. After I read it, I understood why there’ such a visceral anger & opposition to the forced Gaza famine in 🇮🇪. My gran came to 🇺🇸 in 1917 & they were still feeling the effects.
For America this needed to happen decades ago. We are WAY PASSED THAT POINT NOW. The white people have made their decision. Everything that has happened since November is on them all and will continue to be for the duration.
One of the things I enjoyed about the film Attack the Block was way it reminded me of their circle of friends. My parents often took our friends with us on vacations- I did same for sons. They remember things I forgot even though they were pre-teens
