My late wife and I went on two long train trips around the country when we learned she had cancer. Kansas City/Grand Canyon/Los Angeles/Sacramento/Seattle/Chicago/Kansas City. You just have to put in days of slack, because delays will happen. Amtrak doesn't own the tracks outside of the East Coast.

Here's the problem, you need the vertical rotisserie to get that delicious char on each slice that you cut off. Here in Kansas City there is no place that sells enough Gyros that you can get the meat cut right off the rotisserie. It all gets cooked beforehand and warmed on the grill. Not the same.

We had to move back to Kansas City at the start of the pandemic, but we loved every moment in Chicago. We picked a neighborhood with lots of signs in other languages, so we had the top floor of a two flat for $950 a month. Vickie managed to see 662 films in a year due to the Gene Siskel Film Center.

They have N99 "Pro" filters that are as as easy to breathe as most N95. As far as I can tell, the only reason it doesn't have the higher rating is lack of funds for testing. I have tested it myself by putting duct tape over the opening and tried breathing in. Amateur hour, but it convinced me.
