It’s been going on for a lot more than 75 years. History didn’t start when you say it does. But you’ve shown why Hamas doesn’t give a shit about Palestinians.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
No one, in a war, allows their enemy who attacked them, to remain armed. You’re not a serious person.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
Haha. The third line of the article revealed the issue. “but would not disarm”. That’s just like 1945 when the Allies were winning WWII and the Nazis said, “We’ll cede governing, but we’ll keep active our Gestapo, SS, and Wehrmacht”. Oh, sorry. No one in history has been that stupid.

The “genocidal intent” to kill all Palestinians would be a lot more obvious to me if all the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza were being lined up and shot or gassed or killed. Doesn’t seem like any Palestinians in the West Bank are being genocided. Who was “we” back there?
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
That’s the sitting room in the residence. Maybe JD soiled a couch cushion or Trump let loose a big one on a chair.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
“Hundreds of thousands”? No. That’s not happening. More people died on March 24, 1945 than have in two years in Gaza and no one blinked on that March evening. But, you’re right, it should result in ICC punishment if the Israeli right-wing talking points actually result in moving whole populations.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
Israeli right-wing talking points. Talk is cheap and a weapon. Who is “we”?

If they’re not helpless and are still in control of the government in Gaza, then they have the responsibility to the Gazans under their rule to surrender, release the hostages, leave Gaza, and end the war. Just like the Nazis did who started the war they lost. Maybe they should allow new elections?
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
If the U.S. did everything Tommy Tuberville discussed and leaked to the public, we’d all be aghast.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
I’m not killing any babies. I’m cooking my Labor Day BBQ today. Tell me, if Hamas is so helpless and has no control, why don’t they surrender, return hostages, and stop stealing humanitarian aid? Maybe they want to stay in power, still run Gaza, steal aid to buy rockets and shoot them into Israel.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
None of the Allies sent food into Berlin before the Nazis surrendered. That was the post. In fact, no Allies sent food into the regions of Germany between Berlin and the western front before the Nazis surrendered. The solution in Gaza is simple. Hamas surrenders, returns hostages, leaves Gaza.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
When Hamas surrenders, the war ends, the invasion of Israel is done, the daily rockets into Israeli cities ends. This is just as Hezbollah is dead and has no presence of value in Lebanon, much to Lebanese rejoicing. Maybe then, a real government takes over in Gaza and a Palestinian state can happen.

Tell Hamas that. You seem to have a difficult time wanting an uneven battleground. In urban wars, the ratio across history of non-combatant deaths to combatants has been 8:1. In this urban war, with one side hiding under hospitals and schools and uso g its population as shields, its 2:1 at most. 🤷🏻

I just told you your argument on those territories is moot. Now I’m going to help you by taking me out of your timeline.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
My point is terrible things happened in WWII and people crying for Hamas have and had no problem with the Allies doing any of it. That’s the hypocrisy. In a war, when one side refuses to even acknowledge rules of war, it’s foolhardy for the other side to abide by them. That’s just reality.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
Haha. You’re drinking all the propaganda. Hamas loves you. Whose word for what am I taking?
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
Hamas says they still govern it. Convinced them. THEN get back to us, not before.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent

A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
Nah. Shebaa Farms isn’t recognized by the UN as Lebanon territory. Jordan couldn’t give up the West Bank fast enough after getting crushed in the 1967 war they joined vs. Israel. They redrew their borders first. Syria hasn’t contested the Golan Heights since 1970. Egypt refused to take back Gaza. 🤷🏻
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
Tell Hamas they aren’t the government in Gaza. When you get them to agree, get back to us. Newspapers are still printing statements from the Hamas Health Ministry and other offices.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
The stated goal of Israel in the war Hamas started has always been the end of Hamas in Gaza. When that happens, the war will stop. Only Hamas can control that. The Allies did not send food into Berlin before the Nazis surrendered. Step on another rake.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
We’re going to see. The ideology you say “can’t be destroyed” is based on constant attack and the end of Israel. You seem to be contradicting yourself. Hezbollah hasn’t been replaced and Lebanon is loving their new reality. 🤷🏻
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
I’m asking the questions, not offering support. Do you have a solution to get Hamas out of Gaza and that government? Offer your brilliance to the world.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
No. If Israel stops, Hamas stays in power & prepares the next invasion, continuing to terrorize Israel & Israeli’s on their border, sending rockets into Israel every day. That is unacceptable to any country. Israel has had enough & wants to end Hamas just as they did Hezbollah. Lebanon is grateful.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent

A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
But soft words are good for Hamas, right? They only caused the war and continue to extend it. They could have never invaded Israel and started the war. They could end the war today by surrendering and leaving the Gaza government. But power is more important to them than any Palestinian baby’s life.
A rezistenței (@gregglade.bsky.social) reply parent
But which are plans and which are threats to get more pressure on Hamas to leave the Gaza government? And which are plans of a specific faction and which are the accepted policy of the national government? If Israel wanted all Palestinians dead (genocide) they’d all be dead by now.
