As we begin a new month, my law firm is litigation 51 voting and election cases in 25 states. 6 in Arizona 6 in Georgia 4 in Florida 4 in North Carolina 8 involve redistricting
When I lived there I volunteered on his campaigns
I left the state 25 years ago but still have family and friends there. There is a pretty impressive pool of senatorial candidates, so I have hope. Plus, I know the communities where Grassley had his town halls. Much of that outrage was coming from people who voted for him.
Iowa used to be more purple. A democrat held Ernst’s seat for 30 years. She was elected when he retired. An evangelical wave took over many communities. It is possible that they are waking up now because these policies are actually hurting them.
I love that he is resisting Trump, but we have 2 1/2 years to primary season. I have a hard time looking past him cozying up to Charlie Kirk and Steve Bannon. Also, please explain how his current attacks on homeless encampments are ok.
I see your point, but what about the desire to exclude children with different ethnicities, religions, or backgrounds. Also those public indoctrination centers don’t teach the science of flat earth. (Sarcasm voice)
Shall we have him explain the role of polygamy in the Bible? His wife is listed as a podcaster and businesswoman. Is she submitting? I have more faith in my 29 year marriage, based on mutual respect, than any opinion of his.

My Gen Z children and I are regularly protesting this administration.
My MAGA Rep is trying to go after solar farms too.

Many states have stand your ground laws. These people are usually masked and drive unmarked cars. There are documented cases of bad actors. If they are doing nothing wrong, why hide? Isn’t that what we are always told?
I started using a score board at my town’s recurring protests. It’s at least 10:1 in support of us.
It’s really unbelievable that MSM is not covering this at all. The are massive protests also happening in LA. Even in my rural midwestern town there are hundreds of protesters every week. Ordinary people are standing up while they cower!
We all know it’s pure tribalism. The actions of Boelter are the dictionary definition of terrorism.

They are not covering any acts of resistance. I live in a rural red district. 2-3% of my town’s population actively protests on a weekly basis.
I started watching again after 20 years.

I was a latchkey kid. My grandma taught me some cooking basics so I could feed myself when I was six. Watching the Frugal Gourmet and Justin Wilson gave me skills to successfully cater private parties earning my college tuition.
I found a fixer upper that will be sold when I die. It’s my forever home. I’m saving for my next project. It will convert one extra long bathroom into two giving my daughter an en-suite.

I’m binging the livestream of the bears eating salmon in Katmai National Park. There are so many sockeye salmon that the river is red. Will salmon prices go down? Just curious. I have been checking on the bears for many years and have never seen this many fish.

I have spent time with settlers in Hebron. Unfortunately, it feels like an instance where those abused as children become abusers as adults. Those I spoke with completely dehumanized the Palestinian people.

I remember my mom and I freezing damp wash cloths because we had no air conditioning and it was 100F at night. Fans really don’t help at these temperatures. This heat costs lives.

My mom and her best friend used the same safety net to get degrees when each’s husband left. One became an engineer and the other ran a $20 million dollar business. Their tax dollars have well exceeded the benefits they received. I want live in a country that invests in people.
