Putin could offer payments in crude for refined product. Russia have overproduction for crude now when they cant refine it anymore. And oil companies are extension of goverment anyways so dont need to ask from them. I think this is natural economic allies now.

Both. In EU the biggest problem is that it needs unanimous decision in security decisions, so when we have countries that work for the adversary (Hungary) we cant get anything meaningful passed. This needs to be fixed so that one russian vontry cant decide for everyone. But US need fix too.
