I worked in the State Attorney’s office with rape and domestic violence survivors and NO prosecutor in a rape trial would bring up a totally inadmissible polygraph AND say the defendant showed no evidence of lying. W/o full context it’s hard to know, but this certainly sounds terrible.

I believe the quote from the victim was that he covered her mouth when she was 11. There are two very concerning things here. One is that the abuse began when *he* was still quite young. The other is that it continued for so long. All young children are curious about bodies—🧵
