This may be a very obvious question, but I keep getting asked if I am a democratic supporter living in the United States. They are always posted by people with almost know followers or posts. Is this the Democratic party building a voter base?

I have never seen this photo before. It spectacularly shows workers’ conditions before unions and legislation. It seems these days that in many countries those safeguards are being eroded much to our loss.
Here in the UK, CNN is amongst the free TV channels. However, I can’t watch it live because of the very intrusive adverts. I record the particular programs and presenters I like and fast forward. The adverts really are overpowering.

I want a speedy end to Trump‘s presidency. I don’t wish him dead although I would not be upset. I just don’t want him coming to the UK on a state visit. I don’t want to see King Charles being forced to polish the guy’s ego. It would be a stain on the monarchy.

Armando Iannucci is one of my favourite writers– again if you haven’t seen it the 3 or 4 BBC series of the Thick of It with Peter Capaldi is also great. A bit dated because it is centred around a spin doctor, which is old hat these days. And it is very sweary.
