And like the republicans are doing, there has to be an emphasis on legality so there’s no real pretext for crackdown. It’ll happen regardless but the more Trump gambles with his power the more he might lose elements of his coalition.

This is how I felt about ai when I first started using it- it seemed miraculous at first! + then as I used it I realized it is largely an exercise in dishonesty so the horror has not been at the awe of replicating humanity but that the concept of truth is being devalued by our society
