I was vaccinated for Hep B about 30 years ago, and still have antibodies. Yet, I just had my *fourth* varicella shot because my antibodies disappear. Hopefully, this one takes.

I feel (sorta) guilty. They recently opened a place called "Kitchen Hub Food Hall" up the street from me. They have a ton of restaurants, all for takeout. So I treated myself to Shake Shack, then popped in to DQ to pick up some Dilly Bars.

I agree (I don't smoke weed either). What does make me uncomfortable is that you have to show ID, which means the gov't knows if you're buying weed (or gummies or cookies), which you don't need to do when buying alcohol.

Yes, the items - a shoe, their personal belongings (jewelry, eyeglasses), and the uniforms they were forced to wear. But to hear the survivors recall their experiences was almost too much to bear. Watching people being snatched off the streets is heart-wrenching. Dads dropping kids off at school.
I honestly didn't know if I'd make it through the whole exhibit. Listening to survivors speak about being separated from their families, never to see them again, was gut-wrenching.
I saw the Holocaust exhibit - today was the last day, so maybe that's why it was so crowded. Yeah, the ROM is fantastic.

My old boss told me that when she spent a few weeks in Utah for training, she was going crazy because she couldn't get a drink anywhere. When you live in a very liberal area, it can be shocking to visit a dry area.
Holy crap, that's nuts. No doubt the government is making bank off the cannabis stores (at least with dealers, you didn't pay tax or have to show ID. Not that I'd know anything about that. 😁).
Here in Ontario, we have the LCBO, which sells every type of liquor, open every day. We also have *The Beer Store* (self-explanatory). Also, weed has been legal in Canada for years - you see Cannabis stores pretty much on every block (which put dealers out of business 😜).

Not only was I fined, but I got put on a Customs list for TWO YEARS. The guy told me that if I didn't declare my purchases, I could go to jail! 😂🤣 (my friends still laugh about this!)
Oh, I remember those days. 😞 I once got nailed at Customs (coming home); I had to bring everything I bought into the Customs office (😂). The officer asked if I checked the labels (he was referring to the country); I said of course - I'm always checking the fabrics (😂). /2
As a Canadian (former Montrealer) who used to go cross-border shopping, I'd say no! We used to return home wearing [layers of] our purchases!
Thank God for that! Meant to tell you this, when I lived in Montreal, we'd pass through NH on the way to Maine or Boston. NH is duty-free! ♥️
