Thats honestly the long and short of it for some people! The BEST Star Trek episodes have the odd thing here and there, and some of the worst have a couple of ups. We're a review channel - we review 🙃 ah the lions share of people get it, its just the one or two, ya know yourself!

My opinion is that I don't like it. I know there are little kids who might want to dress as Geordi, or Uhura, or Sisko - so for me, I sort of feel - kids can dress as anyone they like! We're in total agreement on the TOS Klingons. I've had proper arguments about it 🙃

Having Spock be the punchline of the joke like that - as one-note as it was handled as well - just isn't funny. And the argument that they weren't themselves doesn't fly - the gag was that 'full' Vulcans see him as 'less than' A week after Spock revealed he self-harmed as a child. IDIC?

Ent S3, the War on Terror before anyone had any real understanding of just how FUBAR things were. For a season of Star Trek, I think it excels. Has it aged well? Probably not. But we got some damn good stuff in there in terms of lasting moments and performances

actually both great examples. Glee is a funny one - there's an obvious moment in S1 where they went from 'mid-season replacement' to 'full series order' - then it balances for a while, and s3 throws some curveballs Riverdale is an experiment in mind-altering drugs on screen

I don't think it's a plothole so much as an indictment on how the Vulcans view other species. The Federation's PD was to protecting other cultures I think for the Vulcans it was about protecting themselves
