Not sure if you are or not, but maybe your colleagues in WI & others states, as well as at the Fed level, need to get out in the streets and lead their constituents in ways to speak out and stand up to all that’s happening. Social media, pressers, & sound bites are not enough. Get out and lead, plz.

Funding should be free from corp donations. How we get to a place where there’s an even coffer for any party trying to run is the big hurdle. No way the current admin would allow that. They’d find a way to strip funding as they have with going after some Dem PACs.
Think you make some great points. I do think that the celebrity aspect plays out better for the younger gen tho. I’m GenX and focus on the issues over the glitz, but I look back at Obama and how he had a solid platform and also a celebrity appeal which, combined, reached more people. >>
My take: they started planning C4 long before DH was released and they didn’t anticipate how well it was received. They have a company to run and employees to pay. Going with 5e24 was the smart move. They’re still planning DH content and hiring Chris & Jeremy shows they have faith in it future
Ya, that could have been fun to watch and a cool experiment for them, but in the end they are a company and I want to believe that they genuinely feel a responsibility to do what’s best to keep their employees employed for a long time.
Think Brennen developed the world, but Chris & Jeremy are helping with some home brew classes/monsters/spells while also developing new campaign books for Daggerheart, which is their main focus if I understood there major announcement from a few weeks ago.
I was a bit surprised, but considering the planning stages of this was long before Daggerheart’s release and knowing what kind of reception it’d get it was the safest decision. They’re still planning Daggerheart live play content and you don’t Perkins & Crawford for something you don’t believe in.
That “money in politics” thing influences the Dems too so pardon me if I’m not optimistic with them getting around to fixing that.
Don’t forget that a chunk of those behind P25 also believe that they are doing this to bring about The Second Coming and (in their theology) that’ll bring the destruction of this world and give them a new one. Sustainability isn’t a concern for most of them.
When people come from a viewpoint that their are somehow superior they’ll often dictate how others should be in order to try to “fix” them. Sadly the bulk of Christianity is built on that viewpoint.

Quite possibly, but unlike times they’ve done this in the past this made bigger headlines and got other State leaders to start stepping up. They seem to have bought time to prepare lawsuits and other actions ahead of the passing rather than weeks later. Will any of it help? Don’t know. Hope so.
