I would highly recommend diving back in and going through them, especially The Reacher. Truly powerful stuff.
Like yeah the story and gameplay of COE33 isn’t going to gel with everyone and I respect that, and perhaps it’s on Sandfall to require Act 3’s sidequests to really drive that in, but I thought it was extraordinarily powerful writing that adds so many layers to this wonderful game.
There’s a lot of arguing over which one is “correct” but really it’s both and neither at the same time. A huge motif in the story (that is explored further in the side quests and the “social links”) is struggling with grief and how difficult it can be to move on from traumatic experiences…
