Prayer is reaching out to God in thanks, in love, and in need when you have done all humanly possible. I doubt there is ever any thanks sincerely given, there is no love, and they haven't even tried, and God isn't gonna fix something they won't even start on.
He has tried to take several seats, and a small ottoman once. Seriously though, I'd agree with him a little more if I believed for a second he actually offered a real prayer for the people hurt and lives destroyed. I'm no saint, but I still hold some of what I grew up with as important.
