I don't live in a place with a meaningful amount of street lighting (there are like four, along the highway), so I tend not to think about it much. I do recall a bit of excess back when I was in a city. Those could probably do with a bit of yellowing as well.

Never actually finished the final season (my ADHD always starts kickin' real hard on final seasons), but I recall finding him unlikable just because he spent so much time flip-floppin' and whining. Liked Miller, Amos (eventually), and Drummer; wasn't big on anyone else.

I never had strong feelings about them, until I've been running Triumph of the Tusk. I'm guessing the authors wanted to showcase the victory point system, because it is a CONSTANT for book 1. Book 2 has an investigation where actively trying can slow your progress. Had to cut a bunch.

My hottest take on horror is that none of it is actually scary, and that the most enjoyable horror movies are ones that bend the genre. I watched a lot of horror as a kid and was constantly disappointed by what other people pretended was going to be frightening.

Know it's not the trope, but I find generally when I'm stuck in a "what my character would do" situation it's because I've failed a Recall Knowledge/Sense Motive type check and the character is missing info. Though I have had some annoying instances where I've had to ignore what my character would -

I love the idea that a situation gets described as a player "insisting on using a Scottish accent" and then you find out that player's just actually Scottish. Have a few players who I think try to use accents, but they're so inconsistent, I could not for the life of me tie them to a place.

I knew a guy whose dad would throw out a loaf of pre-sliced grocery store white bread after two days. Apparently he believed it went bad that quickly.
Also, I am someone who likes spicy and heavily seasoned food. Unless I want Thai (which tastes good, but never sits well for me), I have no other options here. If I want good food, my options are either make it myself or go without.

Got told I needed to "walk more" after showing clear signs of POTS. Less than a month prior, I had walked fifty miles in five days for the hell of it. Turns out, I have POTS. Wanted to huck that tiny cardiologist into the woods. Three decades of that shit.
I had three PCP doctors prior to my current one, from 2014 to 2021. When I complained to them about my slew of fatigue, focus, pain, and infection issues, they all decided it was because I was fat. It was cancer. Years and years of undiagnosed, untreated cancer, totally unrelated to my weight.
Not well. A single slice of pizza is too many carbs, apparently. I have tried to eat healthy and it has not been good enough. No soda, no alcohol, hard limits on sweets of any kind. Still wound up diabetic. I hate living in this body, man. Goddamn ramshackle garbage heap.
