After a weekend harvesting Common Spotted Orchid seed heads I was amazed to find I had collected over 100 in a single 8 foot wide strip, the length of a tennis court. 20 years of scythe management has paid off. We sent the excess off to the Hardy Orchid Society seed bank today.

A reminder that treating Russian territorial gains as an inevitable outcome is a Kremlin talking point. Since 2014, the Kremlin has pushed this idea that Russia is so powerful and giving up some land is better than giving it all up. It doesn't lead to peace, it leads to pause-and-push land grabs.
