His announcements always seem anti-climatic to me...about something that is of tremendous importance to him, but barely worth a yawn for most of the rest of us. Now if he would be announcing scheduled peace talks between Putin and Zelinsky, THAT would be a noteworthy announcement.

Just an observation...my father had dementia for many years, and despite being an avid reader all his life, he lost his comprehension and would read the same paragraph over and over and eventually gave up trying. He also lost the ability to follow a plot or understand commentary while watching TV.
His best performance was in "Dancing With Wolves"...kudos and thank you to a truly authentic American.

Unfortunately, it appears that the DNC is deathly afraid of change, thinking it will result in further losses, when in fact the opposite is true. We need younger, more energetic and enthusiastic leadership and candidates that reflect the diversity of the voter base. Get with it, please!

The wheels of justice turn slowly, and if we truly believe in the rule of law, many of these battles have to be won in the courts, otherwise we would be just as lawless as they are. I'm putting my faith in attorneys like the Mark Elias Group and solo attorneys like Neal Katyal who know how to win.

Hooray for the U.S. Court of Appeals ruling striking down 47's abuse of power with the use of tariffs. So important to note that this power belongs to Congress, not the President. And this ruling should extend to what he is trying to do with all Congressional funding of programs and allocations.
And I know of 2 stories about food-born illness outbreaks in just the last few days, including a recall of eggs infected with salmonella. Our food safety was not great, but at least minimally adequate previously, now we're all on our own.

In my state of Wisconsin, we just had a driver arrested for driving 143 mph on Interstate 41 where the speed limit is 70. Excessive speed has also become another form of driver aggression that endangers everyone else on the road.

Watching news coverage of state National Guardsmen performing "beautification" services in DC parks by picking up trash. Some were wearing orange safety vests but others were carrying them, likely ashamed to wear them. Such a waste and inappropriate use of resources with no legitimate mission.

Great observation, and very accurate. In the U.S. even people with decent health insurance can quickly get snowed under by ever-increasing deductibles and co-pays, and fighting coverage decisions adds mire cost in both time and money. I worked in health care, and know for a fact it's a real mess.
Don't know how he maintains a leadership position. I find him uninspiring and bland, and his perpetual facial scowl is a further detractors. There are numerous others in the House that could do a much better job. AOC and Jasmine Crockett come to mind.
47's super thin skin was very apparent in his response to Gov. Wes Moore's invitation to do a safety walk in Maryland to observe their progress in the state's fight against crime. 47 wigged out because HE CAN'T WALK more than a few steps at a time. Points out a personal weakness, which 47 hates.
I don't see any evidence of what you see in France happening here. The farms have 1,000+ cattle and they are kept in barns and feed lots. No grazing land exists.
The police and sheriff's assisting ICE have taken a huge fall from grace, and have lost the trust they supposedly cared so much about before the huge payouts from DHS became a factor. They are no longer worthy of the "Protect and Serve" slogan..should be "Stop and Seize" or "Harass and Handcuff".

States control elections, not the federal government. So see you in court, and remember, if you try to remove voting machines, it will take much longer to count votes and determine the winners, (possibly weeks) and Elon won't be able to hack them and produce illegitimate wins for your candidates.
