Yes + if not fatal, docs can usually repair stab wounds & the patient can fully recover. If hit w/ an assault rifle, but survive, bones/organs are obliterated & not fixable. Most countries have laws that help prevent our type violence in the 1st place. We let anyone w/ a face have gun.

Well, it is kind of hard to pull off a mass stabbing though. The stabber has to get pretty close to the victim & can typically only focus on fatally stabbing 1 person at a time--which gives others a chance to either flee or overpower the attacker.

Yes, but...every single thing we do puts a little more silt in the gears. Every lawsuit they have to defend takes time, people & money. Sure it wont do anything on its own. Thanks! Not sure how intelligent I am, but I'm definitely curious. My degrees are in engineering & statistics, not medicine. But college did teach me how to properly research topics & sources. And the stats background helped with sifting through the data (sample size adequacy, margin of error, etc).

I'd take it for just about anything. But that's bc when they 1st rolled out the C19 vax all the noise online had me confused. So I read up on everything mRNA. After reading about how long it's been studied & other uses pre-C19. I'm not scared of it one bit. It's not 'new' or 'untested' at all.

As 3rd gen Georgian, who has lived within 10mi of a Cracker Barrel my whole life, idgaf. We don't eat there. They're just an awful tourist trap. The only good thing about having to occasionally go there was getting balsa wood planes from the store that we could build & strap bottle rockets to later.

When I lived in a super sketchy section of Atlanta as a young adult & drove a complete beater of a car--I *tried* to get it stolen bc I thought the only way I could afford something else was with the insurance money. It was so crappy nobody would take it. But occasionally someone would sleep in it.

I literally had every single thing stolen out of my car when I was a teen (including my graduation tassel from my rear view mirror) while it was sitting in my dad's driveway overnight. My CD collection, glove box contents, ashtray change...gone. The cops wouldn't come out or even make a report.

Good stuff. Sharing. I am not chronically ill, but never stopped masking (did a LOT of reading on masks). It's not that much trouble & haven't had even a cold in over 5yrs. I use an N95 for doctor/hospital visits, KF94 (with ear strap clip to tighten) for brief public visits. I like them, tbh.
