I have to mention an ML application I use every day: the XBlock Screenshot Labeller. Which runs on a tiny computer on the developers desk. The ML equivalent of my Honda Civic.
As a matter of fact, ChatGPT is spectacularly bad at image analysis. Feed this image to ChatGPT (or any other LLM) and you'll see what I mean. (Apologies to Portland Flag Association for stealing their image.)

ChatGPT is an LLM. That stands for "large language model." (Though some prefer "synthetic text extruder.") LLMs manipulate language, and only language. Machine Learning models for medical applications are a completely different thing.
