Remove the process. Rs worked hard to do all those CRs to push this to a reconciliation vote, which only needs 50 votes to pass. A reg budget process requires 60 votes to pass. If the majority party can’t come up with a legitimate budget, they need to be limited in what a budget can include.
Republicans in Congress have structured the most painful benefit cuts in their budget bill to kick in AFTER the 2026 midterms. But the tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy? Those begin immediately. Remember this.
