Need to litigate some of this brazen and blatant lying and platforming propaganda. Financial incentives might help but also some cover to actually cover. But it’s warfare—cumulatively. And that is not something you do on a normal schedule, generally.

Remember when Trump staged a memorial service in Arlington Cemetery for purposes of campaigning—though expressly prohibited—to make Harris look bad in the press and media for missing this fake and most disrespectful ceremony? Assaulted person tried to prevent too but were afraid to press charges.
I really appreciate the way that so many states and their governors are. Coalition of the lawful and free. Sanctuary city is just code for a place that didn’t vote for the authoritarians last go around and had to pass laws to protect themselves from gov overreach.

A president is supposed to represent that entire body politic. It’s both actual and abstract at the same time—and how to do it not specific but principled. Intent matters. Of an executive that is (if they are that). But also—it’s the source of their power. We are that is. Through the constitution.
There is very good reason that policing and military functions are kept separate. The military is OUR military. The country’s. The American people as in the body politic. But all of our lives and beings too.
But who the hell wants to live in a hostile military occupied city? Or society? Or country? That is the opposite of freedom. And liberty. Stop debating the pretext. Call out the illegitimacy and weakness. And how are othering in order to quash our freedoms. Keep pay low. Keep us divided.
Pritzker was great but that was a nasty hit job on democracy and rule of law by the interviewer. Sure crime will be down if have no tourists and warehousing the homeless for profit and people are avoiding leaving their homes unnecessarily because the military has taken over your city
