Based on what evidence? Does Pritzker mean undocumented, illegal immigrant residents? Or does he mean legal US citizens? Not that either is acceptable. But thereβs obv an important difference as well.
Look, Chicago definitely has its problems. State and city level need to do more. But the point here is that Trump is using it as a pretext to intimidate Dem voters in the upcoming Midterm and General election.

A Word of Caution Inexperienced non-politicians can be exciting, refreshing, and raw. But they can also prove to be ill-equipped for the demands of the job, be unvetted, have concerning beliefs, etc. Look at Fetterman. Itβs not so hard to read or give good speeches. Make sure heβs tested/vetted!
Just Remember: Rallies bring out the most engaged/vocal. But Dems are a diverse bunch, and these are divided times. The winning formula against Trumpβs Rep Party, is a BROAD coalition. Dem Progs will have to compromise with mods, centrists, Never-Trumpers, Indies, etc. Activist platforms wonβt win.
Even if this President allows him to be jailed, the next more conservative President, and esp if itβs a right populist President, is going to release him. The left are law & order. The right are βanything goesβ And the world is in peril.

While it is a positive and interesting approach, a few glaring differences with the US: Finland 1) is about 70 times smaller, or roughly 340 million less. 2) has a highly centralized, socialist system - and is a much smaller country - ie much easier to implement 3) is a highly homogenous culture
