I made a visit to Los Altos city library today to relax and enjoy the cool air (thanks to A/C) @rolandnissanart.bsky.social once advised me to draw what's in front of me, so I did. Very small sketchbook 5x5in. Painting in soluble graphite ArtGraf with brush pen #urban #sketch #art

Hi Ellen, yes you’re right I do paint mostly on hot press, a good weight always and my other preferred brand is Schmincke. I’m not terribly loyal to any one paper brand but Fabriano is always reliable.

Agreed- for myself anyway, I do have frames made and glass cut , meaning I can put what I like in there. Oils are light and yours are stunning, keep going!
