I mean, if a president had to be accountable for committing crimes... oh, never mind.
As a parent, aunt, uncle, grandparent, human being—if you don’t feel for this young woman and see the injustice here, you’re dead inside. Deported to Guatemala. She’s an honor student, a track star. She doesn’t even speak Spanish. And this isn’t the worst story out there, not by a long shot.
I've seen former friends and close relatives whose minds were corrupted by watching it. Facts don't matter. They live in an alternate reality entirely.

That's easy for you to claim, not having to put your livelihood or even your very freedom on the line. A doctor needs to get legal help for their ambiguous counsel. Ultimately, when it's her life and her future ability to bear other children on the line, what does the woman herself get to decide?

I can't understand the appeals to Trump among these survivor. Surely he's one of the perpetrators. Just consider the lengths his corrupt DoJ have gone to suppress the fact that "his name is all over the files."

I fear it's much worse than that. They live in a fantasy world where nothing Trump or his SCOTUS minions do has any flaw. Nothing is their fault. I've observed this with former friends and relatives that have been captured by the Fox News phenomenon. They're happily unaware of any actual facts.

Most of them live in a world (Fox News, etc.) where Trump can do no wrong, and any flaw is really a hoax perpetrated by Dems. Willingly misinformed.
Gathering the evidence was no trivial task. The indictments had to be flawless - no loopholes to exploit, no possibility for witnesses to flip. Read them. Had they gone to trail, Trump would be in prison today, but for the Supreme Court's lame immunity ruling.
Had Trump been sitting in court, it's doubtful if he'd even have gotten the nomination.
But they would have been in full swing well before the election, had SCOTUS and Cannon not screwed them up.

One of the most important qualities of a President is to pick a qualified team and listen to wise counsel. Nobody can be an expert at everything. But it was also evident that although he believed himself to be, Trump was and is an exceptional dunce.

I don't buy that. Democrats worked to fix several things, against heavy Republican opposition. They rarely have had enough of a majority to do more. Just two defectors in the Senate was enough to limit what could be achieved. I don't blame Dems. It's the GOP that's screwed us. Unilaterally.

IMO, the Dems can't fix this on their own. They need sane Republicans to join in, which so far they've failed to do. Fox News propaganda is pervasive. If their audience had any clue what was going on, at least half of them would reject Trump in a heartbeat. Fox is at the core of sustaining the cult.
It's misplaced to pick on them. They have no choice in this. They signed up to fight foreign enemies and help out in natural disasters. They don't want to be used as political props, but they're not allowed to say so, either.

I was puzzled by the phenomenon until my curiosity prompted me to sample Fox News. The simple answer to the question is that they never see any indication that Trump is anything other than the smartest, most honorable, savviest leader ever to grace the White House. They don't see any of it.
Trump's motivations always hinge on what he can get away with. There's no boundary he won't push to test, and lately he's gotten away with things nobody else could, simply because it's he who's doing it. SCOTUS, media, party, voters, military. No one who can, will hold him to account.
