This was my lunch today Samosa filled patties (aloo tikki) Chana masala (chickpea curry) And chutney. (Not that green thing) Itβs got a red tint to it because i eat south Asian spicy not western spicy. 20% of the population here is south Asian so thereβs an expectation to keep the food authentic.
Green chutney does have mint in it. yogurt-based raita is white with green flecks. I live in a city that has a very high South Asian population. I have only ever been served tamarind chutney with samosas so seeing a green chutney with samosas looks very weird to me.

If men are willing to be orderlies, ambulance attendants and paramedics they should also be encouraged that nursing is an option. I attached the webpage of our local university nursing school. It too is washed in that pink/purple color that boys are raised to associate with girls.
There are lots of men in low paying traditional male jobs like cooks. Those jobs tend to pay low because they require little or no education. But skilled fields like nursing have absolutely no excuse for not doing more to attract men. Instead they act like a girls only club.

If you donβt believe pink privilege is a thing take a look at the websites and logos used by groups like nurses. Pink is their color of choice before you even talk to them, deliberately creating an anti male atmosphere. I have nothing but respect for the few men who do go into those careers.
When i was in college i thought of becoming a paralegal, a woman dominated field. I had all the qualifications but law firms one after another refused to even give me an interview. Finally a female lawyer said point blank, βsorry weβre looking for someone to fill in for our girls.β
One way to correct pay equity is to encourage more men to work in women dominated fields. I call it pink privilege. Women are encouraged to work at any job they want while men are still openly discouraged from pursuing jobs in women dominated fields.
