Yeah, I lived there for about 6 years back in the early 2000s. And while the state itself is close to an even split, the extreme gerrymandering gives republicans a stranglehold on most state and national issues. I lived in the district represented by that crusty old c&nt Foxx (may she rot in hell).
I certainly wouldn’t consider Kentucky and North Carolina to be (D). Yes the have (D) governors, but look at their senators, representatives and how they voted in the presidential election. 🤷♂️
