Yep, the actual figures are on the CBP's site. But if someone believes the 2020 election was rigged, they will absolutely believe that import taxes have already raised 8 trillion. You just have to disconnect from reality and believe anything Donald says.

Those agreements weren't in writing, so that's not actually a problem. The cash paid in import taxes is simply returned, like a tax refund. They know which importer paid it. So just give it back. No money is lost.

Ok, got that right. They have just found Donald's tariffs to be illegal: "The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit upheld a lower court that found many of Mr. Trump's tariffs on foreign goods exceeded his power under federal economic emergency laws" Donald has a tantrum then on to SCOTUS.

You've got the answer in there: "The relentless coverage of Biden’s age reinforced a public perception about his fitness." That's why it's not mentioned and won't be. It would be like calling Donald a lame duck. People would then talk about it, the media would report on that, and repeat.

I know he has to say that to please Donald, but that does not go well. Central bank independence is crucial. In reality *they* are better able. They can then do what is right for the long-term, not just for the next year. That would be the same for a smart, competent POTUS. Don't even have that.
