Ironically I won’t be affected myself as I’m retired, financially set, and have no kids. The people most affected will be the morons that voted for him. Unless you’re well off, you’re f$$ked. I’ll be around for the schadenfreude.
It’s hard to believe it’s only been that long. The damage he’s done is going to be hard to fix. HHS, CIA, CDC, FBI have been gutted of experts and replaced with bootlickers whose only qualification is loyalty to Trump.

A commonality in Trump and all his hires is that they are incompetent and unqualified. They are also incapable of self reflection. They would never hold these positions in any other administration.
They cost $250 apiece and that’s on game day when they are being unloaded. When a team is struggling no one is paying those prices for those seats.
I’ve sat in premium seats before at Nationals Park. There is a restaurant inside with premium food and drinks. The seats are probably sold but if you are wealthy enough to afford them, you probably don’t attend every game and spend lots of time inside.

I was a police officer in DC. First off, why not properly fund the DC area police agencies to full staffing? Also if they are deploying ICE or other fed agencies they should be in areas where crime is high. Georgetown isn’t one of them.
I was a police officer in DC. DC police and all of the surrounding agencies are understaffed and underfunded. Why not fix that first before deploying the military?
I’m not religious but I would think hypocrisy by a Christian would be worse in gods eyes than honesty in an atheist.
First step should be fully funding DC police agencies(MPD, Park Police, Capitol Police, Secret Service Unjformed Division). All are grossly understaffed. That would better serve DC than bringing in agencies like FBI, Marshalls that don’t routinely do street level law enforcement.
