Seems like the State of Missouri does spend a lot of time and money defending itself in court. And a majority of them they loose it seems. Of course this is on its citizens dime. Just another day in the Show Me State with its supermajority of feckless elected officials.
MO Gov Mike Kehoe is calling a special session to gerrymander the 5th District which encompasses Kansas City. He is specifically violating Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act, which bans any voting practice that denies or weakens the power of a racial minority to elect its preferred candidates.
