I condemn political violence and feel for the family of Charlie Kirk. But I've read posts by RW influencers sanctifying Kirk for dedicating his life to fighting radical wokeism, blaming the Left for his death. That reckless language and empty tribalized blame is the reason Charlie Kirk is dead.
My main observation from the last few hours of monitoring US social media is that Democrats are universally denouncing political violence and calling for calm while MAGA are escalating language and openly lusting for retribution against broad categories of people they identity as their enemies.
In a sense his death just another excuse to further their political agenda. They donβt care about his family. Or guns. Sad but it speaks to the type of people they are.

You can condemn murder and political violence without whitewashing Charlie Kirk's shameful history of hate, racism, white nationalism and promotion of dangerous conspiracies that radicalized Trump supporters to violence. You can do both.
