She is an integral part of our family, loved by her parents, siblings and large extended family. She lived in a nice home, had great medical care and access to higher education. She's also allowed to live authentically related to who she loves, which wouldn't be possible in her home country.
Yes, I'm a trafficker. My daughter was abandoned by her birth family at age 3 and lived in an orphanage for a year and a half. She was malnourished and had latent tuberculosis. Despite the fact that I already had two bio kids (and no fertility issues), I adopted her just because I'm evil like that.

After being elected, and securing democracy from MAGA, Harris would have had the power and means to withhold support of Israel (at the very least put some reins on Netanyahu). Unlike Trump, who letting his buddy do as he wants. Any intelligent person should have been able to see that.

MAGA overwhelmingly supported Israel and that's what she was concerned about. This was a historically short candidate cycle in which to change anyone's perceptions. Any intelligent person could see which candidate would be worse for Gaza and should have voted accordingly. Unfortunately, many didn't.

And you can't say that trans issues are MORE important than gun control, eliminating healthcare, deporting without due process, although they may be to you. In every case, people are dying. People may choose to prioritize other issues first, but that's not the same as abandoning trans people.
I'm not defending a single anti-trans policy and neither are any other Democrats that I know. Just because it's not making the top of the prioritization list for some people, doesn't mean they don't care or aren't advocating on your behalf. They may just care about other issues more.

There is a difference between "offering up rights" and prioritizing other issues. There are multiple groups under attack. Prioritizing issues that affect larger numbers of people doesn't detract from the validity of the others. It's the same reason that heart disease receives more funding than ALS.

I don't disagree. Yet, there's also been a lot of progress in certain areas over that same timeframe. Unfortunately, we're now tipped so far to the right that it's going to take a while to get back to "making progress." This country is not moving to socialism or communism in one election cycle.
