I would think a resignation would be more likely prime time, but with Trump who knows. Some ?s - where are Melania & the family? Where is Vance? Is this a speech or his usual sit at the desk & take questions? Info on things like that could clarify.

Minor caveat - having been present at creation, the consensus was Springsteen was a superstar in the late 70s. Does the film convey the sense he wasn't yet? Born in the USA in 1984 did elevate him further, but he was huge from 1975 on.

Not defending Sarandos, but this is a huge victory for Netflix. KPop will be even huger streaming; they made AMC look weak (& not indispensible). BUT - ironic thing is the singalongs could uniquely be done in theaters, not at home, so in a weird way it is a boost for the theatrical experience.

Without the support of prime Chicago critics (Dave Kehr equally important) my ability to elevate numerous great films to success from my college days through the 1990s would have been impossible. It's impossible to overestimate how critical locally & nationally having respected critics was.

It was a fire trap, a disaster waiting to happen. There were proposals to tear it down and rebuild. The rebuilt inside close to the original design, as much restored as possible. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...

There is no limit how much the support of her family can help a struggling animal. I am dealing with that right now. Her vet is stunned about how she had defied the odds. Lots of things contributed, but sensing her human cares I think does make a difference. Good luck to all of you.
