You're misinterpreting my stance, and in so doing you are quite literally ignoring what I say to turn me into a straw man. I've not given any indication I value Israeli lives more than Palestinian lives. I think any and all civilians deserve a respectable life, a decent life, just a LIFE.
As you say, this didn't start with September, so the decision has not always been "genocide or jail" Furthermore, there's a narrative that people like you play into; a narrative that each of them is under threat which means they need to neutralize it That's ignoring the social conditioning aspect

There are two armed groups using the deaths of their people as justification to murder unarmed people on the other side. Fuck the both of them; Israel needs to be stopped and condemned, but that doesn't mean you need to justify aggression against civilians.
You cannot take the position that Palestinians are justified in striking down innocents under the guise of "fighting an oppressor" any more than you can take the position that Israelis are justified in striking down innocents because they "support a terrorist regime."
