I donāt mind the leftovers from roasts, but my wife would prefer something different for the next few days and doesnāt want red meat too often. We eat a lot of fish and chicken and Iām fine with that.
A roast with mashed potatoes and gravy made from pan drippings was once a week growing up. We had pork more than lamb but not by much. As a boy I got sick of it, now I crave it, but Iām cooking for 2-3 so a whole roast is too much. I still donāt make a gravy as good as my grandmother.

Iāve been thinking about lamb a lot lately. We donāt have it often, but I did as a boy. My grandmother made roast lamb with lamb gravy, and my grandfather grilled lamb chops (loin chops as the ribs chops were unavailable back then). We had these about once a month.
I had CNN on for a large portion of the day. I tune Jennings out or leave the room. I donāt know why Jennings is there, itās not giving an opposing viewpoint, itās parroting the false propaganda. I stopped watching CNN at 5 when Jake Tapper came on.
I was raised by grandparents. I once asked my grandfather driving at night to turn the overhead light on. He did and then asked what was I looking for. I told him I just wanted to read. I didnāt get to read my book.
