The Supreme Court will do whatever Trump tells them to do. The system is broken beyond repair. Tear it down and rebuild it so that another Trump can never hold office again.
D.C. is the crime capital of the world now and the epicenter is The White House.
I used to love my country, with all it warts now? Not so much and I am planning on leaving as I will not stay in a country whose leader killed my brother and then pardoned his henchmen.
Its probably better built, cost less, and will have far fewer issues. Like Japan, China moved very quickly from producing junk to making world class products equal or better to anything else on the market in the same price range.

Until the U.S. gets rid of its current illness, the rest of the world would do well to divest itself of all U.S. ties. Trump made it clear, the U.S. is no longer a global player. Under current leadership, the U.S. only considers its own interests and couldn’t care less about the rest of the world.
The flow of wealth from poor to rich is at the highest level it has been in decades. The Trump cult won’t stop until there are only a few ultra rich and everyone else is all but a slave.

It will be funded, just not in the U S. The rest of the world will quickly pass us by in energy, medical science, and education now that Trump dismantled much of what made us great.
Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare. Busting up big corporations and tackling Wall Street’s greed. Getting big money out of politics. Supporting unions and fighting for higher wages. If Dems want to win back working people, this is the agenda they must support.
Look at this graph. The share of national income going to the richest 10 percent was lowest (and share to lower 90 percent highest) when union membership was at its highest. As unions have weakened, inequality has widened. This is why we must build back union power.

I installed solar a few years ago. I do not miss my electric bills, especially as the rates have been climbing rapidly over the past year or so. Every rate increase means my system pays for itself quicker. It was a 7 year break even before, it is now 6.
Ironically, you will also find the same numbers for the people who are unrestricted 2nd supporters if you ask them if they would give up their children in exchange for their 2nd amendment rights.

Very few inductive ranges are available at a reasonable price. The performance is impressive but they are not cost competitive for many consumers. I went with a conventional electric range and it works, although inductive would be nicer.

He had the will, the sleazeball Republicans in the Senate wouldn’t move on it and effectively blocked any appointments by Obama in his final year. I will blame RBG for not stepping aside when she should have. By holding on as long as she did, she made certain that she was replaced by a scumbag.
I call out inaction and infighting whenever I see it. The courts will not be expanded. Trump will make sure of it along with SCOTUS. It will take more than lawsuits to do what must be done and the longer we wait, the worse it will be.
They are trained to obey orders. They are also trained to ignore orders that they have reason to believe are illegal but most are afraid to do so as they put their career at risk when doing so.

Every state needs to do as much as it can to thwart the Trump administration in any way it can. Anything from rules requiring that all law enforcement identify themselves and show their faces to openly defying idiotic rules that serve no function other than creating fear should be the norm.
New Mexico is overriding the federal government on the topic of COVID19 vaccines to ensure their residents can access them. States hold a tremendous amount of public health power. They should use it.

I have volunteered at a VA hospital and many of the people there, almost all quite old, and many with serious disabilities look and sound better than RFK Jr. It is amazing what a lifetime of substance abuse can do to a body and mind.

This is how everyone should respond to ICE raids. An out of control government needs to be blocked, harassed, and turned away at every opportunity. Record everything with cloud backup and make sure a trusted individual can access the recordings and send them to the media and lawyers.

We don’t have mental health issues in the U.S. That is why care for such things is difficult to come by unless you have great insurance. Otherwise, it is too costly for many people to get treated, or at least evaluated.
