I worked in manufacturing for over 23 years. In 1996, my company moved most of its manufacturing process to Juarez, Mexico. IMO, the manufacturing boom is gone. Who can afford to build or retool a factory? Plus, most young ones don't want to work in a factory. I believe those glory days are gone.
