Those same percentages won't hold. I would be *shocked* if any Dems on SCOTUS vote that way.
I was watching the after market action--there basically was none for 5 minutes (I read faster) and then not much. Everyone knows it's not the final word.
That country specific tariffs are not due to a "national emergency", that "regulate importation" does not mean charging X (or Y or Z depending on the time of day). The words and actions alone of Trump make a lie to all of this.
In my mind, this was one of the most open-and-shut cases around.

If there's one thing CJ Roberts loves more than Republicans, it's business. If he thinks letting Trump fire Cook "for cause" will hurt business, he'll keep the Fed carveout and maybe even make it stronger.

I was more thinking about the effect of that trade balance. I guess the Atl Fed can adjust for the monetary gold component, so the effect went the other way.
