Hobby Update: couldn't find them at 1st, then, high up & 1-2kms away, both juvs & the ad. m., catching insects & playing. Juvs appear to be f. (larger than their father). No sign of the f. - has she gone already?) Later one of the juvs had a bird, though I didn't see the food pass. #RazorInTheWind

Hobby Update: Having been away for 8 weeks it was great to catch up with my Hobby family. Almost non stop action as both adults brought food to two youngsters; aerial squabbles for items proffered from dangling talons. Migrant Hawkers made up much of the prey. #birds #birding #RazorInTheWind

It's been a Lyrebird to Lyrebird trip. Almost 8 weeks ago in Oz, I saw Albert's Lyrebird. And, after 5 other countries, back in Oz, SUPERB LYREBIRD is on my list, on my penultimate full day of birding! Royal National Park.
